I have a report that is working well, showing a GL account amount field for a particual GL, I would like to show the field twice, one amount for credits (<0) and one amount for debits (>0)

I have not been able to get the formula right? Could someone help?

it is jrnlrow.amount

You could create two formulas as follows:

for {@credit}:

if {table.amount} < 0 then {table.amount} else 0

for {@debit}:

if {table.amount} > 0 then {table.amount} else 0
