We are currently using Crystal Reports 7. I don't know what is going on, but some of our people can view the reports fine while others will only get the crystal viewer and no report. I tried to make sure that the ActiveX settings are correct on some of the clients machines that can't view reports, but nothing has work. It has got to be a client problem because I myself can view the reports fine. Does anyone know what else could be the problem?

Can you clarify? Is this an application? What runtime components? Did you compare dll versions and look for duplicate dlls with different versions on the PC that doesn't work?

Cheers,

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

If the reports are located on the server, but the viewer installed on each client system, maybe there is some kind of weird sharing or permissions issue with the '.rpt' files.

If the viewer and report files are all located on the client system, maybe there is a login issue on the server database for those who can't run the reports.

We use Active Server Pages to pass parameters to the Crystal Reports to display reports to our users. The actually reports and the ASP scripts are on one production server. Our users access our website from their workstations to access our production server website. Well, we been getting calls from different people saying they can't see the reports. I look at the report through my machine and everything works fine. From scene shots I seen, some people just get a blank crystal viewer on the screen without the report. I am not aware any different DLL versions on different client machines. All I know is that the very first time a client uses crystal reports, it will ask them to download the crystal viewer. We are pass that point. Now some of the client just see a blank viewer and no report. When I or members of my development team look at the reports, everything works fine.
