Crystal Reports Converted to PDF Files

I have a customer with the following 3 requirements for their crystal reports:

1. The report be scheduled to run nightly.
2. The report, once run be automatically converted to a pdf file.
3. The pdf file be automatically emailed to various users.

Has anyone done any of the above with their reports? I'd welcome any suggestions.

There is a product called CViewManager that does exactly this. I was working on EXACTLY this type of project and it has been tabled for a few weeks.

I created a VB application to this too except it exports to Excel. I am using the vbsendmail.dll for the email piece. You can find the free code at

I have several apps that do this and another that is only an encryption/email piece (not using Crystal) so I should be able to answer any questions.
