Crystal reports charts

Hi All,
i have one report which having no of bar charts
Now i want to add one parameter (for no of bars ) and i have to control the bars according to the parameter is it possible in crystal reports anyone please help me in this regard.

Are you asking about the number of bars? There is no direct control, as far as I know. What you can do is adjust the definition of the groups on which the bars are based.

This is based on Crystal 11. It always helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.

Depends upon your version. Once you have added an "on change of" field in the advanced chart, select "topN" and then choose topN and enter a formula that references the parameter in the x+2 formula area.
