Hello,

I would like a bit of advice regarding Crystal Reports/CE/CR Server.

I have developed a PHP web application that allows users to upload information to a MySQL database. From here I have developed a number of PHP pages that act as reports of the data that has been uploaded.

However, I have replicated these PHP queries using Crystal Reports and the visual outcome is far superior using Crystal. I would now like to use these Crystal Reports online, so the users of the website can run the reports and view the live data.

I have done some research but not found exactly what I need. In my research I have come across Crystal Enterprise and Crystal Reports Server. As far as I can make out these products allow the viewing of reports via the internet on a web server.

My questions are as follows:

1) Do either of these products support connectivity to a MySQL database?

2) Do either have true live connection to the database i.e. true dynamic reports. I want the users to be able to amend their data and see an instant change in the Report

If neither of these products can perform both of the above points can you let me know of a product that can do this?

You help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom
