I have Crystal Report Installed at my server and have few reports in my virtual directory. I am trying to access those reports using a URL in my browser but for some reason IIS Server is bypassing this request and make user download that file instead of processing (or passing it to Crystal Web Service). Probably ISAPI filter for Crystal is not definied ... Can some one give me a node to solve this ?

Thanks,
Ahmad.

You actually have to open a Viewer with the report - you can't just call the .rpt file. Assuming that you're using Crystal XI, go to the Developer Library at
If you're using ASP.NET, click on "Crystal Reports.NET SDK". If you're using ASP or Java, click on Viewers SDK. Both links will take you to sample code.

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

We output almost all of our scheduled Crystal Reports as .PDF files and write them to locations that are accessible via a WEB browser. No viewer, no application necessary but if you want the reports to be integrated into an application then you must follow the path provided by hilfy.

Also there may be some license issues that may come to play if you use automated tools to provide Internet access to these reports.
