I need to know if there is a way to limit a result set to a certain number of rows either in Crystal reports or ODBC?

There is a reserved field called recordnumber. You can use this field in a boolean condition on the suppress details tab. I think you will find this in format section.

Insert a running total field and make it a count. Then conditionally format the details section of teh report to suppress if count>?? fill in the number. Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office
