Hi,

I am trying to use Crystal Reports to report on the HEAT database. As I understand it, there are special functions which begin with HFW that are delivered with HEAT. My question is with respect to windows 2000. Does anybody know which directory I need to place the appropriate .dll files in so that these functions work?

It might vary with your version of CR.

C:\WINNT\system32 or
C:\WINNT\Crystal

I would try the Crystal folder first, if you have it. I don't think you need to reboot, just restart CR. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting

Also, you will need to register the DLL's so Cr can see them.

Use:
regsvr32 c:\winnt\crystalhfwxxx.dll
(where c:\winnt\crystalhfwxxx.dll is a valid DLL name and location)

Then restart Cr and the functions should be listed under Additional functions.
