I've just got a Crystal Reports 8.5. Is there ANY way to "import" Crystal Reports Designer into Delphi environment or I have to use those two separately (to make reports in Crystal Reports Designer and then, with Crystal ocx control to invoke the report from Delphi)? Thank you!

hi

Yep, as far as I know, I think you have to keep them separate. You could trigger an instance of the Designer from Delphi using CreateProcess - this wouldn't run Designer within a Delphi form though but as a separate app.

Crystal 8.5 has a VCL that you can install into Delphi for running reports. You then only need to distribute certain Crystal runtime files with your Delphi application... (see runtime.hlp in the Crystal Help folders).
