Apologiies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I need a quick reply.
I am using Crystal Reports 4.6 supplied with VB6. In my VB6 Project, I have added a CR Active X control to create a report. I believe I can attach using a data control (which I've done) but the output comes back in a standard tabular format. The help says that you go to the Active X Controls properties, go to the Data-Bound Report tab and click the "Save Report As" button and choose a path and filename for it, which you can then open in Crystal Reports to format the report layout.
My problem is when I click the "Save Report As" button nothing happens. Does anyone know why?
A quick second question; can i distribute reports with my project using the Crystal Viewer free, or do I need to licence them?
Your help is really appreciated
