Hi,

I'm working on a report that will be used to print a set of 3.25 in by 4 in labels (6 labels per page). There's approximately 1 inch of pre-printed text at the top of each label. To account for this text, I have added an additional section (Detail A) above my initial data section (Detail B) which is the same size as this text. When setting up the labels within Crystal and previewing them, I notice that they often shift up as you go down the sheet. This seems to happen mostly when I select a label format and then edit the layout settings. Am I doing something wrong, or should I just create my own multi-column reports to handle label printing?

Thanks,

A little hard to visualize what you mean.

If it seems that they're shifting up, perhaps you're not setting the gaps between labels correctly, or you need to turn off the suppress blank sections.

BTW, you don't need to insert a section, those this is a good way to allow for blank lines by suppressing blank sections. You can expand the height of any section.

If you can learn the Avery equivalent of that label, you should be OK using it.
