I have created a VB 6 application with CR 9. I developed the application on a Windows 2000 machine and deployed it on an XP machine. The application runs fine on the development machine but I get the following error in one of my supreports on the client "Failed to load database information. Details: The database DLL 'crdb_fielddef.dll' could not be loaded". The crystal reports support website says to put the msvcp60.dll on the client but this dll is already there. The 'crdb_fielddef.dll' is not on either computer and I don't know where to get it, if that is the problem. Any help apprecitated.

According to the Runtime.hlp file, crdb_fielddef.dll should be distributed if you are deploying reports that were created using TTX files.

On my machine, I've got two crdb_fielddef.dll's - presumably one is the result of a service pack/hot fix I applied. Their locations are:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\1.0\Bin and
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.0\bin

Also, make sure that Crdb_ado.dll is distributed to the client machine as well.

My report does use ttx files. I know where the files should be, but those files are not on my system there or anywhere. I need to know where/how to get those dlls.
