Crystal Reports 8 Distribution problem

Can anyone please help?

I have been requested to create an .exe file for report distribution to other machines.

I have downloaded scr8_dist_expert.exe.
I have installed it.


I can compile an .exe file.

But when I come to distribute the file, the Dexpert comes up with a (This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down)



Following the compilation of the report, it will run successfully on my machine.
The files are as follows

(Report Title) CRF file
(Report Title) Application
(Report Title) Crystal Report

If copied to another machine, it will no longer work.


Checks have been made on the MDAC and the sqo32_73.dll and all machines are equipped with these files.

Any help will be most appreciated.
