I have a report that contains a subreport in the pageheader and some text in the pagefooter. When the details of the subreport are longer than 8.5 inches, I get an error saying

"The page size was not large enough to format the contents of an object in the report"

How do I make this report print on two pages? This is a packing slip, what I want it to do is print the items to print the items on the packing slip with the pagefooter text on each page, and when there are too many items to fit on one page, create a second page.

Use a different report section for the subreport--a group section or the report footer.

As Lbass says, a page header is not the right place to put it.

I'd assume you need a new page, so in the detail (or whatever) set New Page Before. (Right-click on the detail section and choose Format Section to get choices.)
