Crystal Reports 7 on Windows 2000

We have recently upgraded to Windows 2000 NTFS from Windows 98. We have installed Crystal Reports 7MR1, the trouble is when you try to open a report either in Explorer or from the desktop it opens Crystal reports application, but not the report itself, any ideas, I have given permissions to the directory in Explorer and the Registry HKLM\Software\Seagate Software. Any ideas?
