Hi all,

I am attempting to produce a Heat Map by using a Cross Tab in Crystal 2011. I have a straightforward cross tab that counts instances of a1, a2 etc which I have highlighting rules applied to.

1 2
A a1 a2
B b1 b2
C c1 c2
D d1 d2
E e1 e2

However, these highlighting rules will need to be constantly updated as my data increases to be relevant.
My issue is that rather than a count of numbers in each cell of the cross tab, I require a % of the grand total (not by row or column). This will allow me to use highlighting rules that stay consistent as my data set increases(i.e Red 80%-100%, Yellow 60%-80%) in the form of a heat map.

Any advice as I can only see % of column and row options and I'm not advanced enough to use formula in cross tab?

Thanks for any advice you can give

Andrew
