Crystal Reports 2008 Freezes on open

Hello, I made a report linked to a stored procedure and then ran the report. The report was taking forever to load so I closed the report. Now, when I try to open crystal reports designer the window freezes and nothing comes up (but the process says it's still running). Any idea on what's going on? Is the report trying to be opened again when i re-open crystal? Any idea how to get around this?

Hi,
Try rebooting the PC as some components are probably still in memory and are preventing CR from completely loading what it needs to run...Closing a report while it is still obtaining data can be bad for both CR and the datasource...

If you have already rebooted and still have the problem, try a repair re-install of CR.
