After working with Crystal Reports succesfully for a few days, I now receive the attached error when trying to connect to a datasource. The error occurs on my local machine as well as Crystal Reports installed and running directly on the server.

"Database Connector Error: '42S02:[Microsoft][OBDC DQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid Object Name 'Temp_OUSR'.[Datbase Vendor Code: 208'

Any ideas what would have changed to cause this?

Thanks
Jeff

Is Temp_OUSR used in the report (table, view, stored procedure)?

I don't think so, but not sure. I'll check into it. The error occurs when creating a new report.

If you are getting this creating a new report, then I am not sure. It almost sounds like a DB error or ODBC error.

Can you access the DB via another product (TOAD, SQL Server Management Studio, etc.)?

Yes. I'm trying to connect to SAP Business One database tables. SAP is working properly. I can create the same report in Access with no errors. I can connect to the database using SQL Serve Management Studio as well. Could some sort of Microsoft update have caused this problem? I'm assuming the problem is on the server some where.

No clue to what is happening. It is strange you are getting this error trying to create a new report. I know that every once in a while, I have to re-create the connection. I do not know if this will help.

I've tried to create a new connection, but I get the same error. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled Crystal Reports on my pc. Still gives the same error.

What is the Temp_OUSR referring to?

Don't know. Do know if anyone has been mucking around with SAP's DB? If some over zealous DBA decided to drop any "Temp" tables, they may have caused this issue. You try contacting SAP. I will take a look in their knowledge base (I am curious now).

Hi,
Are you using the same userid/password in the Crystal report that you use with your Access report that works?
