Crystal Report8:Increase the row/column height dynamically in crosstab

I am a new user of Crystal Report and using version 8.
I would like to increase the height of a row (Crosstab) dynamically. "Can grow" property is dis-enabled for the field object. So, it seems like the formula is the only option left. Will you anybody help me with the code to write the formula?
Please let me know.
