The version of Crystal reports that ships with VB6 is a stand-alone program and must be installed separately. Go to disk 3 of the VB install disks and double click the X:\COMMON\TOOLS\VB\CRYSREPT\CRYSTL32.EXE icon. After it's installed use it via the "Add-ins" selection from the menu.

Be aware that the version of Crystal shipped with VB is 4.x and the latest version of Crystal on the market is 9.0.
I don't want to discourage you from using it because I think it is still better that the VB Data Report and it will do the job. It's free and a good learning tool as well. Thanks and Good Luck!
