hello,

We are currenly using cyrsatl report Xi. and not compatible with office 2007.

Realized that with relase 2, it will work.
I am not sure if this "release 2" is considered a new version or just like a little patch upgrade.

if we upgrade one machine to relase 2, do we have to upgrade all to release 2 in order to share reports?

And is this free to upgrade?does anyone know?

many thanks. Cat

We use both release 1 and 2 mixed on different pcs and it works basicly. But sometimes we have some bugs or inconstence because release 2 is something like a big service pack and so it fixes a lot of bugs.

From my point of view it is mutch better to use release 2 because of the fixed issues. It is not a total new experience of creating reports, but it works mutch better.

You can get the patches and updates from this page:

And you can use it with a valid registration key of the Crystal Reports Developer Edition.

In what way is Crystal Reports XI not compatable with Office 2007 ?

my mistake... it should be fine. I thought i can't pick the office 2007 access data as data source was due to the crystal report version...

But what i needed is the office 2007 odbc driver, not the crystal rpeort upgrade.
