Crystal Report Viewer displays a big grey area to the left of the report

I have been working on an ASP.NET project that has Crystal Report Viewer (v. 13) to print a crystal report on an ASP.NET page.

I am using VS2010, SAP Crystal Report version 13

On screen preview, the Crystal Report Viewer outputs a big grey area to the left of the report. The grey area takes 50% of the report viewer.

I was wondering if anyone has come across this and there might a fix for that. Many thanks.
