I've tried this and the export definition seems to dispaly the version of CR you are using for the Export. I took a CR8 report and exported in CR9 and it said it was CR9.
Crystal used to have a utility called "reports at a glance" that did this - but only for older versions. It was on the CD but not installed with the program.
