Crystal Report Veiwer Freezes

A few weeks ago I installed crystal report 8 on our server to use the CRV for a simple and convient way for users to look at reports. This worked for a period of time.

Now CRV is hanging when a user accesses a report. The screen loads and the crystal icon in the corner spins. There is an hourglass by the pointer but nothing happens users just close their browser and start over. The browsers are IE 5 or better.

I renamed some of the reports and attempted to access hoping to see a "file not found error" or something to that effect. Nothing different happened which leeds me to believe the issue is with the report viewer and not the report itself.

any ideas on what to do?

Does this report have a printer setup associated with it?
Crystal checks the print driver when you open a report.

What kind of data access does the report use?
