CRystal report scheduling from SAP BW

Hi all,

I would like to trigger CR Enterprise scheduling from SAP BW 3.5. We use CR 10.

we have already worked around scheduling the reports from the enterprise server. But the requirement now is to trigger those scheduling task in CR enterprise from SAP BW through process chains.

so would like to know ...how far it is feasible and how this can be done (i mean alternate solutions to this issue)

how about triggering them thrhough OS commands if possible or ftp links.... kindly suggest any ideas on this issue

What does triggering scheduling mean to to you?

You wish to remotely create a scheduled instance of an existing report?

CE does have an API, but I'm not sure how one might use it from SAP BW.

Perhaps if you described this in more basic terms (there appears to be a language barrier) it will be easier to advise you.

You can run reports on demand by using a URL if that helps.

Hi synaps thanks for your reply.... i want to create an instance for the report remotely . if tat can be done through url tat would a good choice,... can u explain more abt it?
