crystal report page adjust

Sorry that I should put these two messages together:


I'm new to crystal report, I always have trouble to adjust the sections on pages.

Now I just created a report with group headers and foot and the report will be two pages.

The footer section sometimes goes to next page, sometimes stay in the same page. And sometimes the third page is only headers,

How can I adjust these?


When I click preview, the first page and second page look OK, but the third page, there is only page header, group header, and page footer, there are no other sections,like detail,etc.

Because the report is two pages, I added a new page after on section which is a group footer.

The New Page After is what is causing the new page, as you just described, you told it to do so and then dislike that you did.

In the formula (X2) next to the new page after, place:

not(onlastrecord)

As for straightening out what is displayed on each page, you might right click the group section and select Change Group->Keep Together to get a cleaner display.

I've already tried your suggestion, it does't work either.

And I also had the keep together checked on the group section.
