Crystal Report on Multiline text 1

Im using crystal report 4.6 to develop me reports. Im now having problem with multiline text in footer when called from program. However i have no problem at all in report design environment with preview.

Tested to relocate multiline text in report header and details with no problem at all when called from program but it only display 1 line when multitext is in Footer. What bug is this? Anyone can resolve this problem?

Hi, ( 4.6 ! ) It still works?

Is the footer large enough to show all the lines..Is the field marked as 'can grow' ( if 4.6 even has that feature)

The report footer section is special in that it is the only section that can't grow in size. Make sure the footer section is large enough for the text field. All other sections will resize to fit the field.

See if a group footer section works better.

Sorry, I meant to say the "Page Footer" section above is the one that can't grow in size.

LOL. 4.6 still worked great for VB6 for my previous projects. Im moving forward with ver8 with VB2005.

The page footer has enough space to grow if only the limitation prevented from display. But it was working during designing environment when preview. Will try on group footer else will lookmfor other alternative solution.
