CRYSTAL REPORT :OLE OBJECT 1

I'm using MS word as OLE object as a link into crystal report in a record footer (basically this is a terms and conditions document). The word has a footer shoiwng doucment name and version number. When it get showed by the crystal report, footer section from the word is not shown. Only content of the word document are being shown. Any reason / I'm missing something? Thanks.

Please do not start multiple threads on the same topic. I just tested this, and footer information does not appear with an OLE object. I'm guessing that the footer is one level of nesting too deep. Instead, you could add the footer information at the bottom of the page, adding returns if necessary, and maybe decreasing the bottom margin so that it appears in the footer position.

thanks for your response. I appreciate that. In the event of not getting word footer from OLe object, it's good idea to edit footer information in the body of the document. Actually, by mistake the same topic got doubled.
