Not sure I'm using "metadata" correctly, but I'm trying to fix a report with about 20 formulas and 30 running totals defined by formulas. Is there any way to get a list of all those formulas so I can look at them and get a better idea of what this report is trying to accomplish?

You can export as Excel, Word, PDF etc - or as Report Definition, which is the nearest to what you need.

Use the Export icon, the envelope with the downward red arrow. Or File > Export, in Crystal 10.

Database > Show SQL will also give you details of some of the record selection. The part that the server does before giving your machine the selected records. Some of your selection statements may not be there: start a new thread about it if that matters.

It helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 or whatever. Methods change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.

A nice feature of XI is that if you open the formula editor, on the left you can see a list of all formulas. You can move from one to the next to view the contents, without closing the formula editor. This feature does not extend to running totals, however.
