Crystal Report - how to work witg both - dynamic parameter and Range Dynamic Parameters

I have to create the report where end user has to either a Single Box Parameter or a Range of Box Numbers.
I have been trying for last 3 months and still no success. Please help me on this.

Prompted Parameters(dynamic ones)
• Box number – The user may specify a box number within the custom parameter window.
• Range of box numbers – The user may specify a range of box numbers through custom parameter windows. All box details falling within the range will be displayed.

Also, I need to display both on the Report Header
Page header will display following selection criteria information before the column headings.
a. Box number:
b. Range of box numbers:

Box Numbers are of String type but contain numerics

Please help.

Hi

I read the link but it seems not to meet what I want.

I want to allow a user to select a Single Box Number or a Range.Both are dynamic prompts.
I am using Alerts which works in Crystal Report but end user will use BI Client tool where alerts dont work

Please help me
