Hi,

I have a query if I export any Crystal Report using Crystal Report designer and export that into CSV format I can see a data in excel format but if I use Crystal Enterprise Server then I can see data as txt format. Any one faces this issue? I am using Crystal Report 10 designer & Crystal Enterprise 10.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Be sure that the CSV export option was installed on the Server ( not always in the default install)..Does it give CSV ( or any delimited format) as an option when you choose Export?

More likely is that the default viewer on the box running designer is Excel whist the CE server has a text editor as default viewer for csv filetype.

Worth checking if the export type is the same.
