Crystal Report - Failed to retreive data from the database

I have a report With 3 sub reports.
When running this report in Runtime, Crystal report Viewer gives the error 'Failed to retreive data from the database' without any additional information.
I have tried for run the SQL for the reports (main report and sub reports) manually in SQLtools and they run OK ang gives the expected result.
The linked Field is the SID, and I have checked at the sid is present in the linked table in the sub reports.

Which version of Crystal are you using? Does the report run correctly when you open it directly in Crystal and not in the viewer?
