im using firefox for viewing of my report the problem is when im exporting it to excel it says "CRAXDRT error occured on server - 2147190548 : missing or out-of-date export DLL" what could this error means? pls. help if anyone knows this prob.

Crystal version? You should never post wthout this info.

Also, you mention firefox, but you cannot export to firefox, what export format are you choosing? Are you actually doing this from within crystal reports or from a separate application?

ooopppss. sorry my mistake its CR8.
im not trying to export with firefox. im using ASP and im viewing my page in firefox with crystal report(in short webbase report) the data is displaying correctly but when the time im gonna export it. that error message appears. im exporting it to excel.

You are using ASP? Do you meam you are using an application to display a crystal report in a browser?

What happens when you run the report from crystal reports and try to exportis from crystal reports?

yes im using ASP to display it in a browser. theres no error i can view it from the browser(firefox) but when im gonna try to export it that error shows. im using also javaplugin for my viewer. in IE it works all fine displaying and exporting(using smartviewer) but in firefox. damn my heads gonna blow

I thought ASP was a language, not an application.

I suspect you have created an application using ASP, and when you run the report from this application, it doesn't export correctly. Am I right?

Again I ask: What happens when you run the report from crystal reports and try to export it from crystal reports?

If it works as expected, then there is a problem with your ASP application, not with crystal reports itself. This is critical to know before we continue.

If it works fine in crystal, then make sure your application s using the same version of craxdrt.dll that crystal reports uses.

I am not much of a programmer, perhaps someone else will chime in?
