Hello,
I'm running SMS 2.0 SP2 in a test lab. It is running in an AD environment. The primary site server is Windows Server 2003. My problem is with reporting. Is there a seperate installation for reporting in 2.0? I installed the Crystal Report add in during the install.
Everytime I try to launch the Crystal Reports tool, I get the below message:
"Failed to logon to APS" or "Unable to connect to APS". I went to the crystal report website and they do not have a fix specifically for this.
I did notice that during the installation, I got the below message:
"You have chosen to install the Seagate Crystal Info snap-in for SMS 2.0. This reporting tool is provided as a smaple SMS Snap-in. You should install this tool on a single SMS site with fewer then 500 clients. If you site is part of an SMS hierarchy or contains more than 500 clients, see the Crystal Info Version 6 (Reports) section in the SMS 2.0 Release Notes before continuing. Click Yes to install Crystal Reports; click No to continue installing SMS 2.0 without Crystal Reports".
I then installed the SMS Admin console and Crystal Reports onto another machine but while I got an "SQL Connection error". What accounts needs access to make this work.
Any help would be great.
THanks,
Matt
