I am using Crystal Report 10. I am trying to write a report that will keep track of the number of clients seen in a day and then total the number of clients seen during the week.
For the report I choose the 1st day of the month through the last day of the month. The work week is Sunday to Saturday. I currently have the report Grouped by
Program
Date_of_Service
PatID
I am using a running total to sum the number of clients seen per day. I dont know how to sum them by week or how to handle the situation where the month start or ends in the middle of the work week. Any help would be appreciated.

Choose 'Group By' and choose 'date' again. I should give you both the monthly and weekly options. Summary totals can then be used.

If you're not already familiar with Crystal's automated totals, see FAQ767-6524.

I did something similar with patID from Centricty, just as easliy you could just create a formula for the day, and the month

if date in lastfullweek then +1

then sum on the formula.
