Crystal report Data sorting Error

I am generating report Dynamically windows application .
When i generate Dataset the order of the Record in asc Datefield ...

but when i see in the report order is being changed. i dont know how to set the field correctly ..to sort the datafield in the report ...

Go to report->sort records. However, note that if you have inserted groups, groups have precedence over record sorts.

I have created a Report in Financial Application where in i have to create a report like

"LedgerName" as a Group under which i have to display Billdate , Credit(Money) and debit(Money) ...

While displaying the records,I have to display a total under credit and debit for each month ...

I am able to create the recordset from the database ..without monthly total .. how can i create monthly total in Crystal Report ??. plz help me .. its very urgent .. thanks ..

Insert a group #2 on your date field->print on change of Month. Then you can simply right click on your detail fields and insert totals at the month level.
