I've created a report in Crystal Reports 8.5 which is based on a SQL Server 7 stored procedure, using an OLE DB connection. I've also created a VB application which opens the report in the Report Viewer control. So far so good.

What I want to do is monitor is which users are connecting to the SQL Server database via Crystal Reports / VB. At the moment, all I see is my login in SQL Server Current Activity, being the creator of the original report.

Is there any way of overriding the connection info stored with the report ? Can I use a Data Link File that prompts the user at runtime ?

I've wasted a lot of time on this one. Any help would be gratefully received.
