Crystal report cannot be viewed

Please help me. I am trying to view a crystal report through VB. I am using API functions. I can see the report opening but then it closes immediately.

Admittedly I use Delphi but I find that the 'Crystal Reports Viewer' component is very good and serves its purpose well.
Maybe you could make use of this through Visual Basic ?
I hope that this helps.
