I am currently using crystal reports 8.5 and running windows XP pro. We have a program here that generates reports for our company using crystal and the problem I am having is when it comes to converting the report to PDF. When the report is generated everything looks fine and dandy. As soon as I print to PDF writer the report prints everything it is suppose to except that it puts black lined boxes around my graphs and pie charts. Now you are probably thinking what the big deal is but these lines are actually cutting into the paragraphs making it hard to read and when you send these out to customers its not an appealing look. Now I went and tried to print to distiller and that prints perfect except for the fact that I lose all the color and it seems to only want to print black and white. Now here is the kicker.......if I go into any other program on the machine and print to these two virtual devices everything prints fine like it is suppose to whether it is color or black and white. The second kicker is when I run these from a windows 98 machine everything prints fine in all applications as well as this program that generates these reports. Has anyone ever seen this before? Or has anyone a quick fix for this?
