Hi,

Anyone knows why Crystal Report can't run and it appeared that the ActiveX Viewer Control need a login ID and password. This Crystal Report is running from Object Enterprises and not from Report Designer. All of end users used to be able to run this report and should be able to run this report without any login ID and password but the report is now disable because of the ActiveX Viewer Control.

Anyone come across this issue before?

Thank you

If you're running from BusinessObjects (BO), you'll need to do the following:

1. Log in to the CMC
2. Navigate to the report
3. Right-click on the report and select "Database Configuration"
4. Make sure that the correct password is associated with the report.
5. If you're in BI 4.x, at the top of the screen set "When viewing and scheduling report:" to "Use same database logon as when report is run".
6. If you're in BI 3.x, scroll to the bottom of the Database Configuration screen and check the "Use same database logon..." checkbox.

Setting the password needs to happen EVERY time the report is updated and re-published from Crystal.
