Hi,

I'm currently using Accpac 5.2A and was informed that my customised reports development should be done in CR 8.5.

In some of my reports i actually makes use of Crosstab reports and these crosstab reports when exported to Excel shows me all the hidden columns & subtotals.

I have downloaded the patch to solve this issue but it seems to export perfectly if i manually run the report from CR but when run through Accpac macro the problem persists.

Do anybody got this problem too?
Will there be any problem if i use CR9 for my report develoment with Accpac 5.2A?

Please Advice.

Crosstabs have never worked from the Accpac desktop, and you have to use 8.5 with Accpac 5.2.

Crystal 9 is allowed for Accpac 5.3, but I haven't tested whether crosstabs are allowed yet.

is it a problem if its installed on the same computer?

According to a posting from Accpac R&D, Crystal 10 will be supported after SM 5.3 SP1.

Hi,

I have checked with Accpac about using Crystal Report 9.
Based on the reply i got, Accpac SP3 has the ability to integrate with Crystal Report 9.

So i actually open, run & save my report that is developed in CR 8.5 in CR 9.
However when i tried to run the report from accpac, i hit the "Report Error Occured" message.

Any idea why?
Please advice.
