Hello

I developed a software using CR8 and now I want to export reports with the .pdf format is there any way to do it.I know that later version of CR has that facility but I am not prepared to update CR8 to new version that has pdf facility, is there any patch file or something else that can have that facility or how to do.

Tks

There was a beta of the PDF export dll for v8, but it isn't available anymore (unless someone has an old copy). You could get a copy of Adobe or one of the adobe print drivers and then just PRINT to the PDF driver. This link has some inexpensive drivers you could try for free:

There are probably some freeware ones out there somewhere as well.

Dear Ken

I want to send the report as email directly. How I do is I select "Word for windows document" as there is no pdf format and at destination I select "Microsoft mail (MAPI)"
But this way oters can change the values of the report. And also some computers doesn't have the HTML4(DHTML)format also how do I have it in all computers. And the PDF Format also

Tks

Maha.

One way to export your report to PDF is to use a third party viewer like those on the LINKS page of my site. Most are inexpensive and some are free. These should all be able to export to PDF.

I never use the MAPI option so I can't tell you much about that.
