I work with a database software package that uses Crystal 8.5 to generate its reports. Most of my clients also use an accounting package that is sending out an update that uses Crystal 9.0 to generate their reports. When the client installs the update to the accounting package on an individual workstation, the dll's that the first package uses are overwritten with the 9.0 dll's and the reports in package # 1 won't run. Package #1's technical solution is to delete the 9.0 dll's and retinstall their software, then software # 2's reports won't run. Anyone have an idea of a solution for this -- short of not using one of the softwares? BTW both of these packages are the "standard" for our industry, and this is going to affect thousands of users.

Perhaps you can explicitly path the DLLs to a different location in your install.
