Hi All,
We are planning a migration from 7.0 to 9.0 in Crystal Reports. Could anyone please help me identify a list or process to follow for a successful migration.
Few things that I could think of to start with is..

1)Do we have to upgrade incrementally from 7.0 to 8.0 and then 9.0? or can we go directly from 7.0 to 9.0.

2)Do we have to open the reports and save them in 9.0 to complete the migration?

Thanks
Manoj

You can install 7.0 and 9.0 alongside each other - they 'generally' play well together. You should be able to run your 7.0 reports in 9.0 without first opening and saving them. As you open close each 7.0 report from within 9.0 designer, you will prompted to save to the newer (9.0) format. Remember, 9.0 has no option to save in earlier versions.
