I am trying to produce a label generated by crystal. I would like to either print four labels per page on a laser printer using acery labels or alternatively use continuous feed printer and produce one lable per page. Crytsal doesn't seem to come with many label options. Can you help ?

What Version of Crystal are you using.

Crystal give you a variety of labels options and Avery Types are included

When you create a report choose Mail-Label from the wizard
and follow the instructions

Hi MisterMo,
I am using Crystal 8.5 and have been using tyhe label template from the wizard you kindly suggested however the list is not very extensive. Is their a driver update available for the labels ?

In addition if I use 4 labels per page at the moment I am getting 4 individual labels per page from my database however what I would like is four of the same label on each page - any ideas ?

If I can't get this to work my plan is move to a single label per page and use a continuous feed printer. However I can't work out in Crystal how to get one label per page without making the label as big as the page ? Hope this makes sense.

Hi maeling

What you can do is to set a standard avery label to get you started and then modify the page setting to fit the size you are looking for

If I remember correctly once you have created a label format report you can then change the page format size to suit you

as you enlarge or reduce the size it should tell you how many labels per page you can get

hope it helps

Mo
