Does anyone know a way to use unmanaged URL reports in Crystal Enterprise XI. I've heard it's no longer possible in this version and if true, it kills our Intranet report site.
Thanks

There isn't a CE XI, you either have BOE XI, or Crystal Reports Server. You might also state what version you are coming from.

Unmanaged disks are available in CRS XI, and BOE XI can open unmanaged reports, and you can URL passing in either.

It's Crystal Reports Server XI, the version that comes with Crystal Reports Developer XI. I was using CE 9 on a W2000 server, this system is a W2003 server. I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say "unmanaged disks". Would you be kind enough to give an example of what an unmanaged statement would look like? In the past we used"

directory/reportname.rpt?init=actx

This brought up the report in the Active X viewer.

My understanding is that CE9 will not work on W2003 and CRE XI will not work on W2000. Am I correct here?

Thanks

Regarding managed reporting in version XI, how would one find the report ID which appears to be necessary to run the report in a URL. Also, can you comment on which versions work correctly in Windows serve. Thanks for your assistance.
