More by neccessity - our Crystal server died (very bad hardware failure) so I'm setting up Crystal Enterprise on a new server.

The old hard disks are fine and I'm confident I can mount the old CE10 database again on the new server (under a different name) - now am I imagining things or do I remember there being a way I can import all of the settings, reports, users, passwords etc from the old server to the new one (using the old database?

thanks

If you're still able to connect to the cms on the original server you can use the Crystal Import Wizard on the new server to import everything (users, folders, instances, etc.).

mmm I can't connect to the actual server, since it's not up and running anymore. The only thing I can salvage is the physical database file - get this database running again (wherever) - can I not just use the actual database to get this info out?
