We often have a Crystal Enterprise installation problem. Let's say we go to a client's report server and install CE80 under a login MySupport. Then we log out.
Now someone else logs in under a different login, say MyUser, and when they open Crystal Reports they get a bunch of Crystal Enterprise installation screens. I assume that this is a rights issue with the two logins, and I have 2 questions:
1. How can we prevent this from happening in the first place?
2. Once we've got the problem, what's an easy solution? I was told I could log in with a 3rd login that has admin rights, then copy the MySupport user profile to MyUser. Is this a reasonable solution?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
