We are in process of migrating from Crystal Reports 8.0 to CE 8.
We run two reports Rpt A & Rpt B. Rpt A takes 50 secs if it is the only job on the server. Rpt B takes 5 secs. If we request Rpt B (from a seperate client PC) just after requesting Rpt A, Rpt B takes about 50 seconds.
Here is our current configuration :
Unmanaged Reports using Oracle 8i stored procedure. Reports connect to oracle using CR Oracle 8 v3.6 ODBC driver that came with CE. We are accesing reports using URL. Server is NT 4.0 running SP 6a and IIS 4.0. 4GB of free space on each drive and 2GB of Memory. Dual PIII 800 Mhz processor with 1MB cache each. Maximum Simultaneous Processing Threads for both pageserver and cacheserver has been set to unlimited. We have processor(unlimited) licenses for the CE.
