for some reason - i cant upload new reports to the crystal CMS server (or filestore)
I receive this error:
There was an error while retrieving data from the server: Failed to read data from report file C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 10\win32_x86\acd_eric.rpt67c39b9e102570. Reason: Unable to launch C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 10\win32_x86\plugins\desktop\CrystalEnterprise.Report\ReportAdd program to add report to the system

Any one know what all this means?

I am also receiving the followin entries in the event log:
The description for Event ID ( 34400 ) in Source ( Crystal_WebConnector ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Cannot setup communication with the Web Component Server. Reason: error number WSAECONNREFUSED.

and:

The description for Event ID ( 34400 ) in Source ( Crystal_WebConnector ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: assert failure in file (Y:\backend\WebAppServer\wsconnector\src\isapi\workerpool.cpp) at line 94. (false : Request failed with code 3 and error message Communication failed with all configured Web Component Servers because they are disabled or not currently running. If this problem continues, please contact the system administrator.).

any ideas?

pdsnoc,

It sounds like you need to run the "ReportAdd" program. Check the path that CE is looking for the program in:
"C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 10\win32_x86\plugins\desktop\CrystalEnterprise.Report\ReportAdd" and see if the file is there.

Did you happen to set a different drive letter as your default install drive? Rn the ReportAdd program from wherever you have it installed.
